DNA Lounge

Yesterday, Thalisha and I went to Turlock to meet Katie and her boyfriend Darron, so we could car-pool to San Francisco, to celebrate Halloween (a couple days early.)

Darron, had gotten us all a room at the Holiday Inn at the wharf, and tickets to the happenings at the DNA Lounge.

The evening promised to be a good one, we had all the requisite tools: A platter of sushi, some whiskey, some sodas, sexy costumes. We were good to go. We did have a great time, although parts of it a bit difficult to remember, while some others are hard to recall.

We ended up getting seperated, and going back across town seperately to rondezvous at the Hotel, Thalisha and I were disoriented on foot in SOMA, which isn't the safest thing to be. And, I lost my hat; that was a tragedy. Everybody got back safe and sound and tired.

One other problem... Katie was once able to drink just about anybody under the table, but those days are lost to us. She's developed a reation to alchohol which greatly intensifies only the very worst effects of the chemical. Leaving her sicker than sick as a dog. We will probably rethink future events and maybe I won't lose my hat.

One fun thing:
The band had xylopgone in it, and during their break, I stood on stage a bit watching the crowd. I was standing at the xylphone station, and the band began to reassemble, witout xylophone guy. It took them a while to notice, that not only was their guy not there, but there was a stranger in his spot. They were like, "hey, what's up." I eplained to them that I was the alternate, and they didn't seem to mind, since they assumed that the real guy was do to arrive anytime. When he finally did, he thanked me for doing such a great job standing there.

I get the strangest urges.
