Guest Starring in Another Blog

Twisted Oak Winery in the Angels Camp / Vallecito grey area.

This was a fun day, we went to Moaning Caverns and played in Big Trees in the snow, I took plenty of photos, none of which are seen here.

Twisted Oak was our lunch stop, and the tasting was fun until the annoying dude took over the task. The other staff promptly found another place to be (I don't think they enjoyed him either). Leaving us all alone with this guy who practically opened with a phrase like " My girlfriend's been goth longer than you girls." WTF? how many things are being presumed there(I count at least three), for what purpose, and who gives a crap, dude? He later implicated himself in a possible hypothetical affair with one of our party, which took place after a non-existent party where neither participant remembered clearly the things that didn't happen. Yeah right buddy. I like twisted oak a lot, but I wouldn't want to have to endure that guy again. A sales tip I was taught is never set off the BS detector even for a moment or you'll never get your credibility back.

Anyway enough about loser-face, The wine there is really nice, overall, as are the people.

Tune in later for a couple small galleries, one for moaning caverns, and one for big trees. I took some awesome photos.

Comments:
hey Elex - You should know I heard about what happened during your tasting, and I agree it was entirely inappropriate. Please accept my apologies and be assured the situation has been corrected.

I really enjoyed hanging out with you and really appreciated the sample of the Indian Rock wine. I'm glad you made it up to Big Trees and I look forward to seeing the pictures!

He didn't ruin my good time. He was just annoying. Twisted Oak really is swell.

We'll be back. Have no fear.

Thanks for the visit to me blarg. It was really nice to meet you that day.
