Well enough of that horseshit.
I wanna talk about Dani. I find her new blog very pleasing. Everything she chooses to write about my sordid personal history happens to be true, and she has (thusfar) left out all the sordid parts. (That makes it much shorter). She is the wife of one of my best friends, and you really can not ask for more. One's friends never pick mates based on how cool you think they are but really John could not have done better if he had merely submitted to my judgement of who he should marry.
She's a solid dependable girl that is from someone who has known more or less since kindergarten.
I miss both John and her terribly and I really ought to call them soon.
And soon I must work. I have taken about five days off for the wedding and by just coincidence of days, and now I must face my remaining days at the downtown starbucks.
Of course my little vacation was spent attending a stressful Catholic wedding and fighting and . . . well.
The vacation was not pleasant but neither is the prospect of going back to work right now.
sigh . . .
"standing on the corner with a nickel or a dime
there used to be a railcar that'd take you back in time
too much beer and whiskey to ever be employed
and when I got to Nashville, it was too much soldier's joy
wasted on the wayside; wasted on the way
if I'm not gone tomorrow you know I'm gone today
back, baby, back in time
I want to go back
to when you were mine"

A failing relationship can take up an awful lot of energy. Tonight after about two rocky months my girlfriend of about a year and two months and I broke up.
Ahh but medicore wine and THe Daily Show do heal wounds, if temporarily.
I'm off to go blubber like a little girl for a while.
Ahh Glorius broadband. Soo this is my first posting from my new laptop. I have discovered to my delight that Kinko's lets you tap into their broadband for free.
The Ag ministerial did not turn out to be riot filled or psychotic.Probably because it just was not that important. No actual decisions were going to made, it was just a pitch by the US governement for its way of doing agricultural policy.
Hopefully I shall start updating this thing more frequently. The website should be revamped soon.
